The Centre is a hub of Church, Sports and Community where we seek to make Jesus the Centre! We are a unique faith community where we encourage our community to have “fun” in our church building.
In 1994 when The Centre (then Dural Baptist Church)’s existing building could not accommodate its growing congregation, instead of building a bigger church building, we built the sports centre to both provide the space and to become an integral and meaningful presence in our community.
Since then, our church has not met in a traditional “worship space” but right here on the sports courts. We believe God has called us to make Jesus-centred people by using sports, recreation, hospitality, charity, and community to introduce people to Jesus in a non-traditional church environment.
We love interacting with our community and demonstrating how followers of Jesus are ordinary people. If you want to be part of something unique faith community, then The Centre is the place for you!
Church Services
Sunday 10am
Everyone is welcome at our weekly service as we gather together to worship God and share community together.
Coffee and tea is available after the service.
Kids at Church
We welcome children of all ages.
Our Kids Church program runs during the service (after the singing) for kids preschool aged to year 5. They are invited to learn about Jesus in a way that is engaging and relevent to their age through bible teaching, craft, music and games.
Babies/young children are welcome to stay with you during the service. A creche area with toys is available at the back if that is more comfortable for you.
