Every coach at the Warriors holds the Futsal coaching qualification required by FNSW to coach in the Futsal Premier League.
They are all very keen students of the game and eager to increase their knowledge of Futsal in order to help their players be the best they can be. This group of coaches is totally committed to the Warriors way of playing Futsal and the club’s culture, on and off the court.

Technical Director and Senior Coach: Rob Varela
Coach for Women & Men Teams
The former Futsalroos Coach and current NSW Women’s coach continues not just to look after his own teams, but also acts as a mentor to the younger, less experienced coaches in the club
11 Boys: Thomas Marull
Thomas is in his first year of Premier League coaching but he has been honing his skills as head coach of The Centre’s Future Starz Plus squad. Tom relates very well to young players and is committed to the Dural system.
12 Boys: Matt Wearne
Matt comes back to Dural after two fantastic seasons. Matt has a great relationship with his players and his knowledge of the game continues to improve dramatically
13 Girls: Beau Jenkins
This will be Beau’s third season at Dural. Last year proved to be a very solid start to his Futsal coaching career and expectations are high for Beau to become an even better Futsal coach as he continues to gain experience.
14 Boys: Blake Rosier
A key figure in the all-conquering Warriors Men team for many years and a member of the 2016 World Cup Futsalroos squad, Blake returns to Dural after a short hiatus. A Championship winning coach with a very sharp Futsal mind, Blake will accelerate the players Futsal education
15 Girls: Amanda Millgate
Amanda will be into her third year at Dural after a very successful campaign last season reaching the Semi Finals stage. Gentle and mild in approach, Amanda will get the best out her players this season.
16 Boys: Ahmed Sweedan
A current Futsalroo and member of the Warriors Men’s squad, Ahmed is one of the best young coaches in the competition. He has the ability to transfer his knowledge of the game in an easy relaxed way
17 Girls: Josh Franks
After years of experience at a previous club, Josh joined the Warriors last season leading his team to the play offs. Josh was appointed coach of the NSW 13 Girls Lightning team that took part in the 2023 Nationals in Melbourne.
Youth Men: Jake Basden
Jake is also a current Futsalroo and member of the Warriors Men’s squad, having won many titkes across several age groups as a player. Jake led the Youth team to the Premiership last season and is looking forward to repeat the result and add the Championship to it. Jake’s attention to detail, perseverance and total commitment to the Dural way will see his team not only have success but for many of his players push for inclusion in the senior team.
