Hebrews 9 & 10 play off a deep understanding of the functions of the High Priest, sacrificial animals and the Tabernacle. The boys delve deeper into the significance of Jesus being the newer and complete fulfilment of these 3 elements, the detrimental ways human sin effects the surrounding environment and land, and why God didn’t just instate Jesus back in the Old Testament but instead related to Israel first through animal sacrifice and priestly ritual.
